Claudia Albertini joined Sound Capital in 2014 as Assistant to the Executive Board. She previously held various positions at Bank Leu (later Clariden Leu) over an 11-year period, most recently as a relationship manager for clients in the United Kingdom. Claudia holds a degree in Business Administration HF and has completed several internal bank training workshops in Wealth Management.
Otto Angst is a partner at Sound Capital and a long-standing member of the Board of Directors. Previously, he worked at Bank Leu for more than 30 years and at Clariden Leu for five years in various positions, most recently as Senior Advisor for Swiss and German clients and as Department Head. He is a graduate of the Swiss Banking School.
Since the founding of Sound Capital, Daniel Baumann has managed a portfolio of international clients with diverse needs, working as part of Christian Sieber’s team. His services range from classic asset management to corporate transactions and complex family office services. Daniel brings experience from his many years in private banking at the Leu and Clariden Leu banks. He earned a master’s degree in Sociology, Economics and International Law from the University of Zurich.
Martin Beusch has been an asset manager at Sound Capital since 2014. Prior to this assignment, he worked for 20 years as a client advisor, first at Clariden Leu and later as a Director at Credit Suisse. After his initial work training at Bank Leu, he stayed on to join the foreign exchange desk, holding this responsibility for several years. Martin earned a degree in business administration from Kaderschule Zurich. He later attended the Swiss Banking School, where he also completed an Advanced Executive Program (AEP).
Miroslav Bojic joined Sound Capital in 2021 and advices together with Thomas Fürbringer clients from Switzerland and Europe. He began his career in 2002 at UBS, where he spent nine years in various functions in both the private and business banking. He then worked for various Swiss private banks, including six years at Bank Julius Baer in Zurich and Monaco.
Miroslav Bojic holds a Bachelor of Science Bern University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration with specialization in Strategy and International Management.

Christian Brunner has been Chairman of the Board of Sound Capital since 2019. He started his career as legal counsel at Bank Leu. This experience was followed by further positions at Bank Heusser and Clariden, including CEO of Clariden Asset Management Inc. in New York. In 2001, he became a founding partner and general counsel of the Aquila Group before setting up his own law firm, Brunner & Partner, in 2002.
As a member of the Executive Board (COO/CFO), René Bühler has been responsible for the operational and financial management of Sound Capital since its founding. He started his career with a banking apprenticeship at UBS in Zurich, completing his studies of project management as a federally certified organiser. From 1991 onwards, René Bühler managed banking, technical and business projects as Senior Project Manager for the former Credit Suisse private banking subsidiaries Clariden Bank and Clariden Leu. His profile is rounded out by two years of management training at the Institute for Applied Psychology (IAP) in Zurich and a position on the board of trustees of a pension foundation.
Anthony Cagiati is a founding partner of Sound Capital. With more than 30 years of experience in international investing and private client investment management, he brings a wealth of knowledge to Sound Capital. Prior to serving as the company’s first CEO, he worked for many years as a Managing Director at Bank Leu/Clariden Leu. Anthony Cagiati is a founding board member of the Alliance of Swiss Wealth Managers. He is currently President of CFA Society Switzerland, where he was a founding board member, serving as its second President. He also served as a member of the Board of Governors at CFA Institute. He holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from Babson College. He is a CFA® charterholder.
As Office Manager at Sound Capital, Oscar Collie is responsible for the smooth operation of everything in the office and workplace. He has taken on many roles and worn many different hats in both his personal and professional life.
He began his career in the hospitality sector before moving into the financial industry, where he has held various positions in client consulting and IT over the last 20 years. He holds university degrees in theology and psychology as well as an MBA.
Georges Fricker started his career in banking over 30 years ago. After holding various management positions at Credit Suisse in Corporate, Institutional and Private Clients, he joined Lombard Odier in 2005 as Executive Vice President for Wealth Management. In 2014, he came to Sound Capital as a partner, with responsibility for Swiss private clients. He is also a member of Sound Capital’s Board of Directors. Georges Fricker graduated in law from the University of Zurich, also training in finance in New York in 1989 and at Insead in Fontainebleau in 1999.
Thomas Fürbringer began his career in finance as a stock trader. After ten years, he followed his calling and became an investment advisor. He worked as a client advisor at various financial institutions before becoming a founding partner of Sound Capital in 2012. During his more than 40 years in the financial industry, lifelong education has always been a major focus for him.
Simon Grossenbacher has been Chief Executive Officer and Partner of Sound Capital since June 2022. Simon started his career in 1997 with a banking apprenticeship at UBS, where he was subsequently able to take on steadily more far-reaching responsibilities in various client-facing units of the world’s largest asset manager over the past almost 25 years. He has extensive experience in business development and strategy, digital transformation, and platform development in operations and IT. Simon Grossenbacher holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International Management and is a graduate of the Executive Program of the Swiss Finance Institute. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and the University of St. Gallen.
Juliana Herriger-Bon began her career at Credit Suisse, where she held various positions for 13 years, learning the banking business from the ground up. Most recently, as Communications Manager, she was responsible for communications in the Human Resources division. Before taking on communications and marketing responsibilities at Sound Capital, she worked in communications at Novartis Pharma Switzerland. Juliana holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HWZ) and has completed various continuing education courses at the Swiss School of Journalism (MAZ) in Lucerne.
In addition to managing technology and operational projects, Leo Herzog is also responsible for the operation and development of central business applications as well as Sound Capital’s IT and communications infrastructure. After studying economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Leo Herzog started his career at a management consultancy, where he worked for Swiss private banks as a business analyst and project manager. He then worked at various private banks as a project manager and application manager, most recently at Coutts & Co. AG. Leo Herzog holds a Master of Arts (lic. oec.) in economics. In addition, he has completed various technical training programmes and further education courses.
Michael Hobi is a founding partner and long-time board member of Sound Capital. After completing his economics studies, he began his career at Clariden Bank, where he worked for over 16 years in various functions after the bank’s merger to form Clariden Leu, most recently as Senior Advisor with the rank of Managing Director. During this time, he acquired a thorough knowledge of the banking business. Since 1998, he has built a sophisticated client book with a predominantly transaction-oriented clientele. After spending time abroad in New York and London, he also trained as a financial analyst (CEFA).
Dieter Höfert is a portfolio manager at Sound Capital, responsible for large fixed-income mandates. Prior to joining us, he was Head of Special Mandates and Head of Mandates for Eastern Europe at Clariden Leu. He started his career at Credit Suisse in the institutional area and has also worked as a fund manager. Dieter Höfert holds a master’s degree in Business and Economics from the University of Zurich and is a qualified financial analyst and asset manager as well as a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
Remo Hug is a partner at Sound Capital, serving clients from Switzerland and Germany as well as Central and Southern Europe. His interest in financial markets and his passion for dealing with people led him to specialise in investment consultancy. After eleven years at UBS, he elected to join Sound Capital in 2018. Personal client service free of any conflicts of interest is his main focus. Remo Hug is a Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) with a degree in Banking Economics from AKAD in Zurich and a Master of Advanced Studies in Banking and Finance from the University of Applied Sciences of Northwest Switzerland.
Starting his banking career in 1998 as a secondary school graduate at UBS in Baden, Cristian Iglesias has now amassed more than 20 years of experience in wealth management and financial planning for private individuals. After holding positions at UBS, Clariden Leu and J. Safra Sarasin, he joined Sound Capital as an asset manager in January 2018. Multilingual at a native level, he serves clients not only in Switzerland but also abroad, mainly in Latin America. Cristian Iglesias holds a degree in business administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Windisch/Brugg.
Arzu Koc has been a Senior Portfolio Manager at Sound Capital since 2012. She previously worked for Credit Suisse Group for over 20 years, including over twelve years as a Portfolio Manager and most recently as the responsible Compliance Officer of the Irish ETF platform. She holds a degree in Business Administration FH with a specialisation in Banking and Finance and has completed a CAS as a Swiss Certified Investment Products Expert.
Benjamin Lauterborn started his career in finance in 2005 a financial assistant apprentice at Deutsche Bank. Afterwards, he completed studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration including a semester abroad in Mexico, at the University Tec de Monterrey specializing in international negotiation skills. In his more than 11 years of professional experience, he has served institutional clients as well as high net worth individuals. In 2021 he qualified as a financial analyst with the title CEFA, Certified European Financial Analyst.
Kurt Leimer has been a partner at Sound Capital since its founding and is also a member of the Board of Directors. In addition to serving predominantly German-speaking clients, he holds strategic responsibility for developing Sound Capital’s investment expertise. Prior to founding Sound Capital, he worked at Credit Suisse for over 20 years, ultimately rising to a Managing Director. Kurt Leimer holds a degree from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (HWZ).
Samuel Lisi has twelve years of experience in wealth management. He specialises in long-term asset management for high net worth individuals from emerging markets, for whom he develops individualised and high-yield investment strategies and creates and manages investment portfolios. Prior to joining Sound Capital, he spent seven years at UBS Wealth Management in various roles, where his responsibilities included investment management and strategic asset allocation. Samuel Lisi holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Banking and Finance and is a certified Wealth Manager in Switzerland.
Christian Luchsinger is a member of the Executive Board, with responsibility for Sound Capital’s portfolio management. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in asset management and investment consultancy. Christian Luchsinger is a CFA® charterholder with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, in which he majored in Banking and Financial Services.
Sana Manley completed her commercial vocational training at the Swiss Business School and is a federally certified executive assistant. She is fluent in German, English and French and has basic knowledge of Cambodian. She worked at UBS and in Private Banking at Credit Suisse. After successfully completing her studies, she became an Assistant to the Executive Board and to the Head of the Middle East and Asia Division of Clariden Leu. In 2010, Sana Manley joined the team of Alexander Ostrowsky, one of the founding partners of Sound Capital, focussing mainly upon serving clients from Eastern Europe.
Since the founding of Sound Capital, Fabio Mari has been part of Christian Sieber’s team, serving a demanding international clientele in the areas of asset management, investment advisory and family office services. He previously worked in private banking at Clariden Leu and Maerki Baumann & Co. Fabio Mari holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (HWZ).
Mathias Mettler supports Christian Sieber’s team as a junior, providing assistance in servicing sophisticated and international clients in all aspects of wealth management.
Prior to coming to Sound Capital, Mathias worked at UBS and Julius Baer, where he served institutional clients. Mathias has completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Banking and Finance.
Eugen Müller is a partner and founding member of Sound Capital. His prior employment was at Clariden Leu as a Managing Director. He started his private banking career at Bank Vontobel in Zurich and New York. Eugen Müller holds a federal diploma in banking and a degree in finance from the Swiss Finance Institute. He also completed the Advanced Executive Program of the Swiss Finance Institute.
Hansjörg Muntwiler is one of the founding partners of Sound Capital. He started his career with an apprenticeship at Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), where he held various positions for ten years. Subsequently, Hansjörg Muntwiler worked at Zurich-based Bank Hofmann in various management positions before joining Clariden Leu as a Senior Advisor in 2007.
Alexander Ostrowsky is a founding partner and board member of Sound Capital. He has many years of experience in private banking and has held various positions at Credit Suisse Group over the past 28 years. Prior to his time at Sound Capital, he was a Senior Private Banker and Managing Director at Clariden Leu. Alexander Ostrowsky was raised in Austria, graduating in economics (lic. oec.) from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He is fluent in Russian, German, English, French and Italian.
Cecilia Prinz started her banking career in Sweden, subsequently working in the Private Banking department of Credit Suisse in Switzerland. In 2004, she joined the team of Alexander Ostrowsky, one of the founding partners of Sound Capital, with a primary focus on serving clients from Eastern Europe. Cecilia Prinz studied International Marketing in Stockholm and London. She successfully completed the Certified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Certified Fund Advisor programmes in Switzerland. She speaks English, German and Swedish.

Daniel Renner has been a member of Sound Capital’s Board of Directors since 2018. He worked for more than 16 years in various positions at Credit Suisse, initially assigned to Private Banking and holding responsibility thereafter for the EAM business in Switzerland. Subsequently, he served as head of the global Independent Asset Managers business for over ten years. He is a federally certified asset manager/financial analyst and business economist KSZ.
Markus Rohner has been on board since Sound Capital was founded in 2012. Previously, he worked for 15 years at Clariden/Clariden Leu as a manager of German-speaking clients and before that for seven years in the same area of responsibility at SüdwestLB/WestLB. He completed his banking training at Schweizerische Kreditanstalt, now Credit Suisse, and also continued his education abroad with professional and language stays in London, Cardiff and Australia.
Daniel Schwyter started his career at large financial institutions. He spent over ten years as an investment specialist and client advisor at Credit Suisse and UBS before joining Sound Capital in 2019. His clients are mainly from Southeast Europe and Switzerland. In collaboration with Sound Capital’s experts, Daniel Schwyter individually develops the right solution and investment strategy for each client. He completed his business studies with a focus on banking and finance at the University of Applied Sciences in Chur.
Christian Sieber is a founding member, partner and board member of Sound Capital. Together with his competent team, he manages an international client portfolio. The services offered to his longstanding clientele range from classic private banking to tailor-made family office services. Christian can not only claim many years of private banking experience but has also held senior positions in corporate and investment banking at Credit Suisse/Credit Suisse First Boston.
He holds a degree in banking and has completed the Senior Executive Program of the London Business School.
Peter Silberschmidt joined Sound Capital as a partner 2019 and was a member of the Executive Board until 2021. He started his career at UBS and Bank Leu, where he focussed primarily on forex and treasury activities. After working at Interallianz Bank, Peter Silberschmidt started his own business, TFM Asset Management, with offices in Tokyo and Zurich, selling the company 19 years later in 2016 to Julius Baer, where he subsequently served as Managing Director and CIO.
Before joining Sound Capital in July 2022, Markus Steinacher worked for UBS for over 15 years as a senior investment advisor for wealthy private clients from Southern Europe, in particular Cyprus and Greece. Before that, he laid his professional foundation for a good 15 years as a portfolio manager and client advisor at various major international banks. Markus Steinacher holds a degree in business administration from the Kaderschule Zurich and is a certified Wealth Management Advisor CWMA.
Philipp Streule has been with Sound Capital since its foundation, becoming a partner in 2016. He serves clients from Switzerland, Europe and Latin America. Prior to his arrival at Sound Capital, he worked for many years at Clariden Leu as a relationship manager. He began his career at Credit Suisse in Swiss private banking, specialising in investments and mortgages. Philipp Streule holds a degree in Business Administration and has continued to pursue his banking and finance studies throughout his career. He is fluent in Spanish in addition to German and English.

Daniel Studer has been Compliance Officer at Sound Capital since 2018. He started his career as an auditor in the banking audit department at KPMG. He then worked for Credit Suisse Group for 18 years in various functions, mainly as Senior Compliance Officer. Daniel Studer holds a lic. oec. degree from the University of Zurich. He has also continued his education, earning a DAS in Compliance Management.
Bernhard Süess is part of the Portfolio Management team of Sound Capital Ltd. Previously, he held various positions at Credit Suisse. Most recently, he covered external asset managers and private banks as a portfolio advisor and supported them across the entire investment process. Bernhard Suess holds a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Carmen Vizner-Weiss has been with Sound Capital since its founding in 2012. Prior to that, she worked at WestLB and later at Clariden Bank as an investment advisor to their clients. After the birth of her twins, she continued her work at Clariden Bank. She completed her banking training at Zurich Cantonal Bank. She has also spent time in Paris, Santiago de Compostela, San Diego and Rio de Janeiro.
Sandro Weibel has been working as a client advisor for Sound Capital since September 2022. Prior to that, he worked for many years for various financial institutions, including Thurgauer Kantonalbank and Bank Julius Baer. His focus was always on the bespoke support of national and international private clients. Sandro Weibel is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA), a member of the Swiss Financial Analyst Association (SFAA) and holds a degree in Banking Economics (HF).
Thorsten A. Weigle
Thorsten-Alexander Weigle is a partner at Sound Capital. He is an advisor, counsellor and family officer to his high net worth clients and their family members. Prior to his partnership at Sound Capital, he held various management responsibilities at Credit Suisse. Before that, he completed a three-year management trainee program at Deutsche Bank in Stuttgart. Thorsten-A. Weigle holds a degree in German Law (MLaw) and has completed various advanced training workshops in the fields of tax and finance.
Patric Wiedmer has been with Sound Capital since its inception. His prior experience includes working for 15 years at Bank Leu/Clariden Leu as a credit specialist. He also completed his banking training at the former Bank Leu, supplemented by professional and language stays in London and Australia. In addition, he continued his education between 2002 and 2005 to become a federal banking specialist and banking expert. In 2015 and 2016, he also completed the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Banking from the Swiss Finance Institute.
Markus Willi has more than 30 years’ expertise in corporate banking, investment banking and asset management. His career in finance is marked by several years of assignments abroad in London, Montreal and New York and various management positions at UBS, Republic National Bank of New York (Suisse) and Clariden Leu. He laid the foundation for this career with his business administration studies at the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG). In 2006, he completed the International Executive Program (IEP) at INSEAD. Markus Willi has been a partner at Sound Capital since 2017.
Susanne Wüthrich assists the two partners Hansjörg Muntwiler and Remo Hug in serving their national and international clientele. She has decades of experience in the Zurich financial centre and understands how to meet client needs through the utmost quality and efficiency.
Kani Yalcin looks back on 22 years of experience at major Swiss and private banks. He started his career at Credit Suisse, where he worked for several years as a client and investment advisor. This job was followed by positions as Client Relationship Manager at Julius Baer and UBS, where he was responsible for high net worth clients for nine years. He joined Sound Capital in 2020 to focus on clients from emerging markets and the DACH region. Kani Yalcin holds a Master of Advanced Studies from the University of Bern and a Master of Science from the University of Rochester, New York. He is also a federally certified finance and investment expert.
Walter Ziganek is a partner at Sound Capital, having joined the firm in 2017. After completing his banking education, he worked for more than 17 years as a client advisor at UBS. During this period, he trained as a financial planner and earned a Swiss Federal Diploma, ultimately completing his part-time further education in banking at the Swiss Finance Institute (University of Bern/Rochester).
